Among the most characteristics events that Montelupo offers in the last week of June is the International Ceramics Festival, during which the history and traditions of the town are exalted with a series of shows, exhibitions and artistic events. During the year there are also other interesting events, including the antiques market , local crafts market, flower and biological products markets. The local School for professional training of artistic ceramics craftsmen, in addition of its regular annual courses, holds special short courses in pottery-making, lasting a week-end or a week. The local shops supply a broad range of typical local products such as ceramics and glassware. The third Sunday of the month is dedicated to an exhibition in the showroom in Corso Garibaldi entitled "Sunday in …ceramics: a market of artistic ceramics".
